![]() ![]() ![]() Well analyzing from Sumeru's (closest) speculates that the player's main entrance would be accessed by Chasm, there are three other "entrances" that are supposed to be where common people see that are that area where the hut is out of bounds and the canyon that is close to the childe boss room and the coast.Ībout them limiting the players, a simple way would be to allow the player to get to a point but not go beyond it. ![]() I also wonder if the multiple "tower" structures that appear once per region were originally meant to obtain the map, like statues of the seven, since the tower in mond is at the exact same position as the first statue, and it'd make sense that if there were to be only one statue in mond, it'd be near the place you start at the beginning of the game. In terms of reliability, multiple areas like "wetlands" in Mondstadt and "plains" northwest of Liyue don't even match up what we have today, and Inazuma is almost completely different, meaning even basic landforms in this map probably aren't that reliable. One thing that I find interesting about this map is that the areas around Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru are all pretty detailed compared to the rest of the map (which makes sense since they're the first 4 regions to be released), but there's another desert area on the far left side of the map that is relatively detailed as well, leading me to think that this area also had some importance very early into development.
